Primary Goal: Make It Low Maintenance
This busy family really needed options that kept upkeep to a minimum. Busy lives and lots of activities leave them precious little time to spend on unnecessary upkeep.
Patrick installed a Pavestone border to set the backdrop for all future landscaping in the front planting beds. while today, the goal is low maintenance, this leaves the homeowner a great framework to showcase any future landscaping and sets a good visual starting point.
Next Empire Landscaping created separate planting areas by utilizing Colorado River Rock. Not only does this give great accents, but it also allows the homeowner the opportunity to add multiple splashes of color in one of the planting zones without needing to commit to the entire bedding area.
Greenery, to start, was added in the form of highly drought tolerant plants suck as Dwarf Bottlebrush, Pink Mulhey Grass and Daylillies. The final accents were the addition of Black Glacier Boulders to provide some visual height differentiation.
